Information we process

We process account and profile information; user content; garage and vehicle details; Marketplace listings; seller, dealer, buyer, auction and bid records; messages; events, clubs, caravans and routes; creator, campaign and compensation records; verification outcomes; support and privacy requests; and information you otherwise submit.

We also process device and app metadata, installation and advertising identifiers where enabled, network and interaction information, analytics and attribution data, push tokens, location used by selected features, security and fraud signals, moderation records, and crash or performance diagnostics.

How information is used and disclosed

We use information to provide and secure the Services; operate community, Marketplace, auction, creator, campaign, event, map, messaging, business, and notification features; personalize and rank content; prevent fraud and abuse; moderate and investigate reports; support users; measure performance and attribution; comply with law; and enforce policies.

NEXXCAR does not sell personal information for monetary compensation. We may disclose limited identifiers, device and network activity, interaction and analytics information, advertising identifiers, and attribution data to analytics, advertising, measurement, attribution, fraud-prevention, and platform-service providers. Some disclosures may be considered sharing under California law when used for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of users under 16 without legally required authorization.

Privacy rights and advertising choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, restrict, appeal, or obtain a copy of personal information and to opt out of certain sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling. We may verify identity before completing a request.

Eligible users can access account deletion and applicable advertising privacy choices from Account Settings and the Legal Center. Send requests to privacy@nexxcar.com. NEXXCAR does not discriminate against users for exercising applicable privacy rights.

Account, profile, messages, and user content

Account and profile information is retained while active. Ordinary account and profile data is removed or de-identified within 30 days after deletion, with up to 90 days for backup rotation, subject to legal, security, fraud, dispute, and enforcement exceptions.

Messages remain while accounts are active and are removed from ordinary access where supported. They are deleted or de-identified within 30 days after account deletion unless retained for safety, fraud, reporting, litigation hold, or compliance; backup deletion may take up to 90 days.

Posts, media, comments, event content, and similar material remain until deleted, removed under policy, or removed with the account, subject to backup, moderation, reposting, and legal-retention exceptions.

Marketplace, auction, financial, and creator retention

Active Marketplace listings remain while published. Expired, removed, or sold listing records may be retained internally for up to 5 years even if public visibility ends earlier.

Auction and bidding records, including identity, approval, lot, reserve, bid, fee, acceptance, cancellation, dispute, and audit records, may be retained for up to 7 years after an event.

Financial, platform-fee, and creator-compensation records may be retained for up to 7 years after the transaction, payment, or applicable tax year.

Verification, logs, analytics, and support retention

Verification status and audit results may be retained while an account is active and for up to 5 years afterward. Raw government ID images, selfies, and verification documents should be deleted within 30 days after verification unless law or an active fraud investigation requires longer retention; NEXXCAR prefers provider references and verification results over permanent document copies.

Routine diagnostic and access logs may be retained up to 12 months; fraud and security records up to 5 years; and user-level analytics and advertising identifiers no more than 14 months. Aggregated or de-identified statistics may be retained indefinitely.

Support records may be retained up to 3 years after closure. Privacy-request and response records are retained for at least 24 months or longer where required.

Legal holds and deletion limitations

Normal deletion may be suspended for litigation, subpoena, investigation, regulatory inquiry, fraud, safety, or another valid preservation requirement. Some records may be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, dispute-resolution, and backup purposes as described in this Policy.

Children

The Services are not available to children under 13. Users ages 13 through 17 may use eligible non-transactional social features with parent or legal guardian consent where required. Transactional and legally binding financial features require users to be at least 18 or otherwise legally capable of entering a binding agreement.

Security and changes

NEXXCAR uses technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, but no system is completely secure. Material changes to this Policy may be presented for renewed acknowledgment or acceptance where required.
